Award

One of UCF's most prestigious merit scholarships, with priority consideration for The Burnett Honors College (on completing the honors application). The award amount is not stated on UCF's pages.

Deadline

For summer/fall 2027: Early Action application by October 15, 2026 and required materials by November 15, 2026 for priority merit consideration. Funding is limited and commonly exhausted by mid-January.

No separate application. Students who apply for summer or fall admission are automatically considered.

Who can apply

Florida residents entering as freshmen with outstanding academic credentials. Awarded to less than 10 percent of the entering freshman class.

Good to know

Award amount remains unpublished. Renewal requires at least 12 UCF credits each fall and spring, 24 earned credits across fall/spring and a 3.0 UCF cumulative GPA at each spring evaluation. Normally up to eight terms or graduation, with a possible one-term extension for degrees requiring 124 or more hours. No summer award; non-UCF dual/transient credits do not satisfy enrollment requirements. Admissions tuition waivers cannot be combined with admissions merit awards.
