- Florida residents, U.S. citizens or eligible noncitizens, with a weighted 3.0 GPA in non-elective high school courses, a 3.5 unweighted GPA in at least three full Career and Technical Education credits, minimum test scores (ACT Reading 19, English 17, Math 19; or SAT EBRW 490, Math 480; or PERT), and 30 volunteer hours, 100 paid work hours or a 100-hour combination (75 volunteer hours for students entering grade 9 in 2024-25 or later).

- Usable only for applied technology diploma, technical degree (AAS or AS) or career certificate programs, not AA or bachelor's degrees. A parallel Gold Seal CAPE Scholars award is based on CAPE industry certifications.
