Deadline

Most scholarship opportunities open November 30, 2026, and close January 31, 2027. Some funds use other windows.

How to apply

Log in to the CFMC Scholarship Portal, take the eligibility quiz for each scholarship, and complete the full application if eligible.

Who can apply

Students in McHenry County, Illinois (northwest Chicago suburbs); many funds are tied to specific high schools. Individual funds have their own residency, school, major, merit and need rules.

Chosen as the Chicago-area portal: The Chicago Community Trust does not run a public student scholarship application. Notifications in late March and early April 2027.
