- Earned each high school year by GPA: $187 (2.75) up to $500 (4.0) per year of high school. ACT/SAT bonus up to $500 (ACT 28+ or SAT 1300+). Students eligible for free or reduced-price lunch can add AP, IB or Cambridge exam bonuses of $200 to $300 per qualifying exam.

- Who can apply
- Kentucky resident and U.S. citizen at a certified high school who earns at least a 2.75 GPA in a high school year (minimum raised to 2.75 beginning 2026-27) in an approved curriculum and plans to attend a participating college. Not a convicted felon.
- Good to know
- Usable at participating Kentucky colleges; out-of-state use only through the Academic Common Market for programs not offered in Kentucky. Renewal requires a 2.5 college GPA after year one, then 3.0 for the full award.
