Who can apply

High school seniors (or graduates not yet in full-time college) accepted to or applying to an accredited biomedical engineering or pre-medical program, with at least one year on a FIRST LEGO League, FIRST Tech Challenge or FIRST Robotics Competition team. U.S. citizens and international students are eligible.

Good to know

Selection weighs academics and character; financial need is not required but may be considered. Renewal requires annual research projects and papers in biomedical engineering or medicine.
