- $50,000 each (distributed over four years), 30 awards annually

- 2027 deadline not yet posted; the program page says the 2027 program opens this fall. The prior cycle ran November 6, 2025 to January 22, 2026.

- Apply online at edisonscholars.com; the top 50 finalists submit a short video about their community impact plans using STEM.

- Who can apply
- High school seniors living in Southern California Edison's service area with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, demonstrated financial need, and plans to enroll full time at a four-year accredited college in an eligible STEM major.
- Good to know
- Merit and financial need are both weighed. Dependents of Edison International and SCE employees and retirees are not eligible. Recipients may apply for a paid SCE summer internship.
