- Form a team of 2 to 4 students with a teacher or coach, who registers and submits the project (abstract, description up to 11 pages, bibliography, technology launch flyer).

- A finalist round or selection weekend
- Who can apply
- U.S. or Canadian citizens living in the U.S., Canada, U.S. territories or a DoWEA school abroad, enrolled full time, age 21 or younger. High school level is grades 10 to 12.
