Chancellor's Tuition Scholarship (Out-of-State)

- Full non-resident portion of tuition plus $4,000 per year for up to four years. National Merit Scholars may qualify for an additional $500 stipend.

- Apply for admission to UNL. National Merit Finalists must select UNL as their first-choice school with the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
- What you'll need
- No separate application: you are considered when you apply for admission
- Who can apply
- Out-of-state first-year students of academic distinction who are finalists in nationally recognized scholar competitions such as National Merit or the College Board National Recognition Programs. National Recognition awardees must have at least a 28 ACT (or SAT equivalent) and a 3.500 GPA. Recipients must be US citizens or qualified aliens lawfully present in the US.
- Good to know
- Renewal requires a 3.500 cumulative GPA and 24 hours per year. Not transferable to other University of Nebraska campuses.
