- Award
- Honorarium of up to $5,000 per year for 4 undergraduate years (up to $20,000 total), plus guaranteed housing and priority enrollment. Grant awards are based on financial need.
- Deadline
- File the UC Application for Admission and Scholarships by the Nov. 30 deadline, and the FAFSA by April 2 or the California Dream Act Application (displayed without a year). Recipients are notified in March with the admission notice.
- How to apply
- File the UC application; to establish financial need, file the FAFSA or the California Dream Act Application. No other paperwork.

- Entering first-year California residents who are US citizens, permanent residents, or California Dream Act students, with demonstrated academic excellence. Other factors include the personal statement, activities, first-generation status, and educational environment and economic background.
