- Award
- Endowed scholarship covering tuition, mandatory fees and on-campus housing, a fully funded faculty-led cohort study abroad experience after the first year, and professional development funding for research, conferences, creative ventures or internships.
- Deadline
- UT Early Action application by November 1, 2026. UT application complete by November 15, 2026. Haslam Leadership Scholars application by 11:59 p.m. ET on November 20, 2026.
- How to apply
- Apply to UT by Early Action, then submit the Haslam Leadership Scholars application, which includes a video response (5 minutes maximum, recorded in the Go Vols Portal). Selected applicants are invited to a semifinalist Zoom interview in the spring.

- Incoming first-year students who apply to UT by Early Action and receive the emailed invitation to apply for University Honors. About 15 scholars per year.
