- Stamps Scholars: $20,000 per year ($80,000 over four years) plus a $15,000 enrichment fund. Carolina Scholars: $15,000 per year ($60,000) plus a $15,000 enrichment fund. 1801 Scholars: $10,000 per year ($40,000).

- How to apply
- Submit the general university application and the South Carolina Honors College application. Candidates are invited to a mandatory interview and an in-person Top Scholar Weekend.

- South Carolina residents. Fifty awards per year: 5 Stamps, 20 Carolina and up to 25 1801 Scholars.
- Good to know
- Published averages (1530 SAT, 5.3 GPA, top 1% of class) describe last year's scholars and are not minimums. Nonresidents are considered for the separate McNair Scholars program.
