- Award
- Full tuition for four undergraduate years, or five in an approved five-year program. Also covers one Syracuse Abroad experience; one additional summer study/research/service award is competitive. Extra demonstrated-need support requires federal-aid eligibility and both FAFSA and CSS Profile.
- Deadline
- Coronat has no separate or preferred initial deadline. Apply to Syracuse by the deadline for your chosen admission plan; Fall 2027 Early Action is November 1, 2026. Selected candidates receive an emailed written-application deadline and later Zoom interview invitation.
- How to apply
- All first-year Arts and Sciences/Maxwell applicants are initially considered through Common or Coalition admission. About 200 are invited by email to submit an additional written application; about 40 then interview by Zoom. Follow the invitation’s materials deadline.

- First-year applicants whose home college is Arts and Sciences or Maxwell, with exceptional academics, leadership and service. No numerical entry GPA/test floor; recipient score/GPA averages are profiles. Renew with full-time enrollment and 3.0 cumulative GPA for entrants from Fall 2026 onward (2.75 applies only to earlier entrants).
- Good to know
- A&S/Maxwell must remain the home college, including a base major there for an integrated learning major. Other-college additional majors are allowed, but transferring home college ends the award. Coronat recipients enter Renée Crown Honors; summer funding requires an additional competitive request. The federal-aid nationality condition governs extra need support rather than the tuition merit award.
